The reserve hosts mostly the bird-watchers from November - February. Royal Sukla Phanta Wildlife Reserve, is home to tigers, leopards, rhinos, various species of deer (including an important colony of swamp deer), gharial and mugger crocodiles, otters and a wide range of bird life.
