Mt. Ama Dablam, located to the south of two uppermost snow-caped peaks, Everest and Lhotse, is one of the prettiest mountains in the world and is renowned for its incredible beauty. Residing at the lap of Mt. Everest, in the heart of the Khumbu region, Mt. Ama Dablam offers an excellent close up sights of Mt. Makalu, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Cho Oyu and Mt. Everest as well.
The expedition to Mt. Ama Dablam (6812 m.) is exactly one of the risky and challenging ascends of Nepal. Besides, Mt. Ama Dablam is also considered as an ornament of the Himalayas in Nepal. Thus, if you are going to have an expediton of Mt. Ama Dablam, you should already have an experience of facing high altitude and must have strong climbing background. While climbing above to the Base camp (4570 m.), we must pass 3 camps but, amusingly only two camps are used to spend the nights. Besides, the frequent or classic course to climb Mt. Ama Dablam is from its south - west edge.
