Baruntse resides in between of Mt. Everest and Mt. Makalu, genuinely bids an extremely satisfying climb amid the world's highest peaks.

Mt. Baruntse was first climbed by Colin Todd and Geoff Harrow on 1954. An expedition to Mt. Baruntse passes through the Mera trekking peak trek and leads to Baruntse base camp. The expedition to Mt. Baruntse is mainly famed for the challenging experience and breathtaking views it offers. While the trip, one can have the beautiful panoramic views of Mt. Makalu, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Chamlang, and Mera peak including Mt. Everest as well. Our expediton to Mt. Baruntse moves toward the unspoiled wild atmosphere of Hinku valley and Mera La peak. Besides, Baruntse is a well known peak among the few peaks of this height and has a high rate of achievement of climb via South Ridge.

An expedition of Mt. Baruntse is not very dangerous and basically a simple icy or snow climb with some segments of overhanging. Usually, while the expedition; two high camps are formed above the base camp. The 1st camp is placed up just under the East Col. (5,700 m) and the 2nd camp is on the South – East Ridge (6420 m).
