Gokyo valley trek is a most popular traditional trek which offers the superb views of the snowy mountain peaks including Mt Everest, Choyo, Lhotse, Nutpse and Makalu and the Ngozumpa Glacier- the largest in the Nepal Himalayas. During the trek, we can also have the beautiful view of silvery mountains like Amadablam, Kwande, Thamserku, Khumbila, Pumori and many more. Thus the Gokyo valley trek is considered as one of the marvelous and adventurous treks of the country. 

Usually the Gokyo valley trek starts from the mountain airstrip at Lukla. Lukla is about one hour flight from Kathmandu. Being a less frequented than the route to Everest Base Camp, we can have some wonderful high altitude trekking which cannot be kept out from the lifetime memory. Additionally, we can also have a look to the second largest glacier in the world while the trek.
 
Exploring Sherpa museum in Namche Bazar, having eye-striking view from Syanbuche, experiencing Sherpa culture in Khumjung village, climbing Gokyo Ri, having an impressive view of Mt. Everest, Choyu, Lhotse, Nuptse and Amadablam etc. are some main attraction of Gokyo valley trek. Additionally, the Gokyo trek is also famous for having a tremendous ice ridge between Cho Oyu and Gyachung located in Khumbu region.
