langtang trekkingThe Langtang region, falls in the central Nepal, is one of the popular and easily accessible trekking destinations of Nepal from Kathmandu. The Langtang Region lies to the bordering to China (Tibet) and north of capital city Kathmandu. Moreover, the Langtang valley is also known as the valley of glaciers. From here, we can have a beautiful view of thick pine forests, wild animals and birds of various species, rapid flowing mountain rivers, world top snow-caped peaks, green meadows etc. Beside the Langtang valley is also popular for the natural beautiful sceneries it provides.

The trek to Langtang provides an opportunity to see nearly the whole Nepalese Himalayan mountain range from Annapurna in the west, to Makalu in the east. To the west of Langtang valley, is a beautiful place core on the Ganesh Himal range, where we can see about the collection of 6-7000 m peaks. Additionally, the Langtang region is protected by the Langtang National Park, where we can see various species of birds and animals. Moreover, the trek to Langtang is liked by many voyagers because it offers the walk from easy to strenuous both.

Generally, the Langtang region trek route heads towards to the Langtang Lirung passing through the beautiful traditional ethnic village and thick pine and rhododendron forests.
The trek to Langtang region gets you above the Ganja-La pass (4080 m) with the green hills and snowy peaks to the south and north respectively.  The main show up of Langtang region trek is the visit of Langtang valley, the Lirung Glacier, Kyangjin gompa, Dorje Lakpa and Gangchenpo etc. Beside, one can also ascend the Langsisa peak and take a visit of Gosainkunda Lake, a holy lake sacred to Lord Shiva.
